CEU Approval for PAHCOM Certified Professionals (CMMs and
HITCM-PPs)

CMMs and HITCM-PPs must obtain 24 valid CEUs for each certification every two years to maintain their accreditation(s).

CEUs are earned by attending PAHCOM CEU approved courses. These courses are available from a wide variety of sources including many PAHCOM Corporate Members.

Courses currently available are shown on the Education Calendar.

If you have taken training and are unsure if it qualifies for a CEU approval, please submit the course date, duration, title, speaker and syllabus to [email protected].

Track and record your CEUs by logging into your PAHCOM account and going to the CMM or
HITCM-PP Re-Certification Tool.

CEU Approval for Individual Courses and Workshops

Are you offering a seminar, course or webinar that qualifies for a PAHCOM CEU approval?

CEU's are granted based on course content. The content must be relevant to our CMM's and fall into one of these 18 categories:

CEU approval is granted for a 12 month period and the course may be delivered multiple times during the 12 months. After a 12 month period the course must be resubmitted for approval.

The number of CEU's granted is based on the course duration. CEU's are given in .5 increments. A 1 hour session will earn 1 CEU. If your course runs 8 hours but has a 1-hour lunch break and two 15-minute coffee breaks the total CEU's granted will be 6.5.

The fee for CEU approval is $150.00 per course (up to 3 hours in duration).

For our Corporate Members, in the case of a webinar offered free to PAHCOM members, the approval charge is waived.

Upon approval for PAHCOM CEUs, you will be given access to post your event on the PAHCOM Education Calendar

PAHCOM will also provide you with a certificate to give to course attendees.
