Medical Manager Membership Terms:

Eligibility (almost anyone except vendors, read carefully:

  • Practice managers (any administrative medical management regardless of formal title)
  • Other staff at a medical practice either working in administration or supporting administration
  • Students, retirees, or those looking for or considering future employment in medical management
  • Vendors are strictly prohibited from this category of membership.  If you sell anything to medical practices or work for a company that does, you are a vendor for purposes of this policy and not eligible for Manager Membership.  If you proceed with your Manager Membership and are identified as a vendor, we reserve the right to cancel your membership without a refund.  Please see “Consultant Membership” and "Corporate Membership” for more information about those member categories.  There may be some exceptions as in specialty practices which sell to others.  If you’re unsure which member type is appropriate for you, ask us (info@pahcom.com)

Dues:

  • Dues are paid annually in advance of membership
  • Renewal dues are discounted (less than new membership)
  • Renewals are dues paid for the following year prior to membership expiration
  • Renewal dues paid online with a credit card are further discounted (less than joining and less than renewing by mail/fax)
  • Auto-renew (setting up recurring payments) will lock-in your dues rate at the online renewal rate of the date you enable the auto-renew service (so your dues never increase)
  • Membership dues are non-refundable and non-transferable.  If you leave your practice for any reason, your membership goes with you.  While PAHCOM membership does benefit the practice, your knowledge can't be transferred to your successor any more than your board certified physician can transfer theirs to a new physician.  We do offer discounts for successors and/or assistant managers.  Contact us for details on this if you think this applies to your practice (info@pahcom.com)

Standards & Commitments:

  • Members must adhere to the PAHCOM Code of Ethical Standards
  • Members agree to prepare for an complete the Medical Practice Compensation Survey annually (March of each odd year)
  • Members agree to be listed in the member directory and other PAHCOM resources (PAHCOM never sells your information to third parties ).
