My healthcare career started as a medical technologist initially in a hospital laboratory, and then in a physician office laboratory. In that environment, I moved into the clinical supervisor position and then into the practice administrator role.

Being new to healthcare management, I joined PAHCOM because I liked its philosophy of sharing knowledge. I found that adjunct to my continued, formal education to be invaluable.

I continue to feel the same way today and work to continue that legacy by serving on the executive committee of our local chapter and being available to my peers, as they are available to me for their sage insight, support, and advice. Without them and without PAHCOM, I truly believe I would not be the successful healthcare administrator I am today. Nor would I have had so much fun doing it!
